Not sure what occurred but Carmichael seemed a bit overzealous about cheerleaders not catching him...or at least being too low for a karate kick to keep his balance

Allegedly, nothing was said..."mouthing with students" speaks for itself. Although I hope the kisses were in the spirit of good sportsmanship.
Well I would like to know if he meant mouthing as in not saying anything or mouthing as in "mouthing off". You can certainly understand my confusion. Was this something you saw on the telecast or were you at the game? Because I don't remember seeing anything on the TV broadcast. I'm not saying whether it happened or not, while I do doubt it. I'm just wondering what the situation was.

Apparently they didn't make as nice of pillows as he would've liked. Could've have been yelling at the students close behind but it appeared as though he was looking down at the sitting cheerleaders.

Not allegedly witnessed...it happened.SHOXMVC wrote:isuredbirds92 wrote:SHOXMVC wrote:

You are just proving what happens between fan bases in these situations. A fan allegedly witnessed your coach and star player mouthing, bickering, shouting, exchanging recipes, or whatever to an individual or a group. They might have been responding to an awful comment, or responding to someone in their own posse for crying out laud. Your question about what was said will never be answered. I think what people find ironic is that you appear defensive about a coach and player, representing the classiest school in the Valley, potentially interacting negatively with an opponents fan base. Ironic because 99% of your fan base just assumed coach Marshall was unprovoked in a similar situation at your place. Take a step back and think about how this looks.

The yelling didn't start until after Jackie ran over our cheerleaders, took offense to the fact that the female UNI cheerleaders didn't help him get up, turned and looked at them/the students and started yelling at them.isuredbirds92 wrote:
I don't understand why you're trying to propel this to being some big blowup about the class of players, coaches, and fans. It seems to me you're trying to instigate another big argument. I have not commented on whether it happened or not. I simply asked what happened. I am not trying to say anybody is lying or anything like that. I am simply asking. I do believe though, that if Muller and/or Carmichael were yelling at the students, it was almost definitely in response to something very vulgar or disrespectful. Obviously I would like to believe that my team would not stoop to that level. But when you're getting homered as bad as we were in that game, I can imagine that emotions were running high on our end. Either way, I would want to hear from someone that was at the game to possibly give some unbiased insight into what actually took place.
