Looks really nice and I love the design of the exterior.

Somebody might want to tell all of those workers though that when someone comes in to shoot video, at least pretend like you are working instead of standing there doing nothing. :D

The arena does look nice, actually very nice. With the addition of this new arena, the MVC overall has some of the nicest basketball venues in any conference. With Koch, Qwest, JQH and E'Ville among the best, SIU's with their remodel is up there as well. I wouod put SIU along with thise except every expansion they have reduced seating.

My only concern with this arena is size. Does anyone know if it built with future expansion in mind? It would be nice to see it up around 15,000.

Also, is there a terminal for 737's? I know JQH can handle 747's and international traffic, this place looks perfect for the smaller Airbus and commuter planes.

I don't believe it is designed for expanded seating. If it is, I haven't heard anything about it.

I've wondered this as well.

I hope they had the foresight to make design provisions to enable expansion in the future. I would hope we could later add an upper bowl at what is currently the enclosed end of the arena.

I hope the arena is a success for both the city and the university. I would also hope that it can be expanded.

UE held an open house at the new Ford Center this evening. For most of the public, this was the first opportunity to view the new arena. I have to say I was quite impressed. It's going to add another level of excitement to the program. Can't what to get the season started.

Attached are some new photos.

Pretty nice facility. Kinda confusing since it has (had) the same name as the Ford Center in Oklahoma City..

I hope there is a ticket office inside as well, otherwise it will could be a long, cold wait in line this winter..

How are season tickets going over there?

Very impressive. It should be cool for you to open up with both Butler and Indiana.
