WSU picked up another ESPN network game with their contest vs. Tennessee at Intrust Bank Arena. The Shox are getting a lot of ESPN love so far this year, as expected.

It's not Fox Sports 1, but at least it's something. ESPN2.

I believe most opposing teams' players love playing WSU at Koch Arena. They also feed off the energy and the crowd. Tough environment to beat.

I think we'll be lucky to get 9k in the arena for a midnight tip on a weekday. Just because you want to give away or sell your tickets doesn't mean it's just that simple considering it's a school night and a late ass game. Even if it's not filled to capacity, we'll have good enough attendance for a good atmosphere and nobody nationally is going to fault us for not cramming the place full of people. Can you really blame people if they don't stay out until 3am when there is school/work the next day? I'd love to be proven wrong, but it's a lot to ask from some people.

But look at it this way, we'll have more butts in the seats for this game than most, if not all of our conference mates average this season. And it may very well be our least attended game due to day and time. But still, ticket sales will be very close to a sell out if it doesn't happen.

According to Paul Suellentrop today, it is now "unlikely" that the Shockers will play in Dallas which is unfortunate. Instead, the Shockers will probably play a non-D1 opponent at home.
