actually, non students GA can seat where ever they want when they get there, but students are let in 10 minutes before non student GAs. Students actually pay extra fees when they enroll for class, so they can get free tickets to all the shocker sporting events.

Takes a donation + Ticket Cost

To get in the discussion for getting seats you have to give somewhere in the following range. Closer to the floor, closer to the max you need to be.

Center court minimum donation = $2,365 - $18,770
Goal Side Seating = $1,130 - $18,770

Any unclaimed tickets in that section go on sale the day before the game (or maybe the day of the game - I'm not certain) for $18. I went that route a couple of years before I got season tickets. GA seats are behind the north basket. Non-students who get there early can get seats around the 15th row or up, which are decent seats. Below that is generally left for students regardless of when non-students might show up.

That row for non-students may move higher this year. 30 minutes before the exhibition last night, that section was about completely filled and it was almost solid yellow, so it wasn't fans of Newman, which is located in Wichita.

They get two tickets?? Wow...never seen that before.

Have you seen the women in Wichita? I'm surprised two per gal is enough space to shoehorn them in.

But, how will they look in 10 years?

You see them at Merle Hay Mall in Des Moines on Saturdays, clammy and meaty in their shorts and halter-tops, looking a little like elephants dressed in children's clothes, yelling at their kids, calling names like Dwayne and Shauna. Jack Kerouac, of all people, thought that Iowa women were the prettiest in the country, but I don't think he ever went to Merle Hay Mall on a Saturday. I will say this, however -and it's a strange, strange thing- the teenaged daughters of these fat women are always utterly delectable, as soft and gloriously rounded and naturally fresh-smelling as a basket of fruit. I don't know what it is that happens to them, but it must be awful to marry one of these nubile cuties knowing that there is a time bomb ticking away in her that will at some unknown date make her bloat out into something huge and grotesque, presumably all of a sudden and without much notice, like a self-inflating raft from which the stopper has been abruptly jerked.

Quote from "The Lost Continent" by Des Moines native (and Drake alum) Bill Bryson.
