I think it's worth mentioning that on one of Marshall's first recruiting trips after being hired by WSU, he went to watch a player who had remained committed to WSU.
Marshall ended up watching Guy Ntang-Alang collapse and die on the court. It's not surprising that WSU has the personnel, equipment, and training to handle emergency situations that can occur and seem to be especially prominent in basketball players. If your school does not have an EADS, please encourage them to get one. They save lives.
These situations probably occur at about a .001% rate (that's my guess). That's 1 out of 100,000. When it happens to your guy, the odds go up to 100% for that guy and about 7-1/2 % for your team.
Bowles' condition has been upgraded from "Serious" to "Fair".
