I will presume Knight is innocent for now. If he is guilty he needs a healthy suspension and a zero tolerance. Kids deserve second chances, but you don't want a kid around that will negatively impact the program.

I have heard some scuttlebutt from some high, unnamed sources that Daishon Knight, Teddy, and Lofton will be taking a Martial Arts class taught by Jackie Carmichael to keep in shape during this year while they can't practice.

I've long thought that Illinois State needs to take a hard look at dropping to a lower conference. They haven't made the NCAA tournament in a decade or two and their fans are obnoxious and don't know a lot about the game. They were furious that a foul was called when one of their guys tried to kick a WSU player. Sheesh. Have you guys ever even made a Sweet 16?

They get so drunk at the MVC tournament that several pass out each year. They get into fights at the bars after the games. They stand behind the Shocker crowd and mock the shocker fans screaming "Wichita is a blue collar town" over and over like they think working for a living is a something you deserve to be made fun of. They yell and mock the WSU coach every year in Normal like that's more important than the game.

Now they have a player that should be sitting out two years, he's not but they're still mad. Another shouldn't be on the team. Don't go away mad ISU, just go away.

A couple idiots are ruining the cyber-image of a once well respected fan base. I remember a VT poll not that many years ago that voted ISUred the most likable fan base in the Valley. Most of those former poster are still die-hard season ticket holders. FWIW RedbirdFan is seeing much of the same.

I'd be interested in knowing if their are any schools in the nation with 20,000+ Students that are lower than D-I for athletics. I'd be very surprised. It would essentially be suicide for enrollment unless a university has something else it truly hangs its hat on and uses to attract thousands and thousands of students each year.
