Jordan Prosser has regressed.

That's pretty amazing. I've watched JP since his prep years. I always figured he'd find a niche as a Lucas O'Rear-type player; willing to scrap for rebounds and put-backs. Were his 13 minutes as bad as his stat line indicates? How close is Xzavier Taylor to earning starter minutes at the 5?

Yes he looked as bad as the box score says!


Id say XT will take his mins soon but hard to say I mean Pross has always been streaky and might put up a Double Double tomorrow.

Jordan Prosser can't even catch the basketball off a rebound or pass anymore. It was the first game of the year, but it's been pretty much a downward spiral for him the last couple of years. Usually we get fooled in the non-con that he's going to be a viable big, and then he gets pantsed in league play. Looks like the pantsing started early this year.

The last couple years we've had to play slow deliberately, although last year we started to push more to take advantage of Lemon, but our non-con foes kept us down-tempo, which allowed Prosser to be productive. This year, we're playing faster and have the personnel to force opponents out of it. So I think it's largely attributable to speed.
