I believe the Great West lacked an NCAA bid due to too few members. The conference no longer exists and CSU is in the WAC.

Bradley 46, CSU 26 at half. I've been a BU fan for more than 25 years and this team is one of the most fun to watch. Walt Lemon missed almost the whole first half with 2 fouls and BU actually seemed to get BETTER. Underestimate Geno at your own risk.

Bradley wins by 13 after Chicago St. cut the lead to 7 with 1:22 left. Did Chicago State just outplay the Braves in the second half or did Geno call off the dogs a bit too early?

Seemed to lose intensity in the second half. Way to many turnovers, and when Walt Lemon was out the team struggled tonight. It was BU's 4th game in 8 days, so I do wonder if that has something to do with the second half let down.

All that said, it's nice to be worrying about 13 point wins again. Now Bradley gets ready for Illinois on Sunday.

Bradley got up 25 early in the 2nd half, and then the game just got ugly. Chicago State started pressing, and BU got careless with the ball with a big lead. Lots of fouls and foul trouble, and lost focus because of the huge lead. Not something you like to see, but a win is a win, and the game was never really in too much doubt.

Lemon and Bell will be rested for Sunday since they sat a lot tonight with foul trouble. Little used 7'2 center Nate Wells was playing midway through the 2nd half.

BU blasted Chicago St out of the break and pushed the lead to 22-25 for pretty much the first 8-9 minutes of the 2nd half. Chicago St started getting a little chippy, BU fell for the playground stuff and got lazy and careless, and Chicago St started outhustling BU. We went without a FG from the 11 minute mark to 4 minute mark when the lead went from 25 to 12. Got down to 7 with about a minute left off of some more careless turnovers, but as others said the outcome was never in doubt. It was dreadful to watch though.

It should also be noted that Lemon fouled out with about 11 minutes to play. He fouled out on a block for his 4th foul, and then a double technical with a Chicago St player. He had been bad again tonight, only 9 points in limited time. Had 2 fouls in the first half, and 5 points. Had a couple drives and a couple turnovers in the 2nd half before his 4th and 5th fouls. BU played great in his absence in the first half and built a 20 point halftime lead. Coulda used him the last 10 minutes more so for another ballhandler than scoring, although when the lead got down to 12-15 and we needed a bucket he would have been nice to have.

4th game in 7 days, we'll take the W and hopefully muster enough energy to give the Illini a game on Sunday.

Not pretty at all in the second half, but we all know how this goes. When the game is over 10 minutes in (and this game was), it turns into a free-for-all. Lemon did NOTHING tonight, but BU dispatched a decent opponent without any real effort at all. Onto Sunday and a real test. Obviously, if Lemon plays like crap on Sunday, the Valley will take a hit.

When did Chicago State become "decent"? Just curious.
