Odds the MVC is a one bid league?

Right now WSU doesn't resemble a lock as an at large.

There are no name wins or true "quality" wins available in the Valley. Sorry, Trees, but I don't think a lot of national respect will be earned by a win over the Sycs.

WSU has to get their quality wins OOC and those are coming up quick. With the problems with post play and rebounding the Shox are experiencing right now, it's going to be a challenge to fix that in time.

I expect it will be fixed, but if it takes until league play, it's too late.

Disagree. We can have 0 quality wins and still make the tournament, the benefits of making a Final Four. Lose to St. Louis, Alabama, Tennessee, BYU and go 14-4 in conference, Top 40 RPI and we're pretty close to a lock. I also see that as worst case scenario.

Not sure your point - are u just wanting us to know that drake lost last night because most of us just went to bed and assumed they would lose?

Or do u think that drake is going to help make this league a 1 bid league by beating some teams that they shouldn't?

Problem with "eye tests" is they are "short sighted" and are more emotional than reasoned analysis. Had WSU been ahead of their opponents by double digits and then played even the second half the fans would have had a different feeling about this team --- though then we would have the other MVC fans taking shots about that WSU can't finish off their opponents.

Right now WSU RPI projects out to RPI 26 - that is going 8-3 in non-conference and 14-4 in conference.

So, WSU and ISU B take care of business and finish a strong 1 and 2 in the MVC and both make it to SAT in ST. Louis but someone else beats WSU on SAT and ISU B on Sunday then I say THE VALLEY maybe gets 3, a lot of if ands and buts but, crazier stuff has happened!

My guess is 1 bid, but 2 if someone outside of WSU gets hot. I'm thinking ISUb possibly. Who knows though.
