Not making excuses. But it should be noted Illinois State reports "butts in the seats" not paid attendance.

I believe SIU does the same.

This is true and given the quality of the product, I think 54% capacity is decent. I could care less if it was 10% though tracking attendance seems silly to me.

If I'm WSU, I sure as heck would be looking around for another league. They are so out of place with the rest of the Valley now that it's not even close.

As does Missouri State, now that the are using a ticketing firm they no longer report "paid attendance".

lets be realistic, there are not any viable options for WSU. And as last year and maybe this is showing maybe it doesn't matter.

It will be interesting to watch and see what happens with CU. Because this might be a perfect example of watch out for what you wish for (or maybe not).

Well done! I wish we could nab St. Louis and Dayton.

Lot of half empty places right now. The one that really stands out is Missouri St as they seem to have really improved, but attendance hasn't yet.

It's pathetic, part of it is the opponent I guess but I hate that excuse. Hopefully things will pickup after the holiday if not I'm not sure what to do.

Put a better product on the floor. For the conference, WSU has done their part. Perhaps UNI and ISUb have as well. The rest of our teams have work to do.

For MSU the better product is on the floor this year. We got shellacked last night but overall we are playing pretty well. And we have some young and exciting players. Attendance just hasn't followed yet though. We know it's a problem. It's been well discussed on our message board. No one seems to know what to do though.

Well that's pretty interesting. I do recall seeing an article somewhere this year that NCAA attendance is down across the board this year (for mens basketball).
