I agree he is a pussy and so is Self

I disagree that they are pussies. I would call them smart coaches. I just wish they were honest. I wish Bruce Weber's quote said "I am never scheduling WSU, no reason to, benefits do not equal the downside. As long as I am coach, the only way you see KSU/WSU is in the post season." I could respect that honesty, this veiled attempt at looking good is what I hate. He did the same with SIU while at Illinois.

I don't buy that there is not enough upside. What was the upside of K State playing Gonzaga in Wichita this year? The upside is a good RPI game. The same you would get with WSU.

I think it's going to rapidly become the case, if it hasn't already, that Wichita State is the second biggest program in the state of Kansas.

That's not going to be the case with the Jayhawks -- as much fun as WSU fans have pointing to our higher ranking and Final Four over them, Kansas is always going to be viewed as the biggest program in the state. They just have too much history behind them. K-State is not in the same situation ... they have nowhere near the history of Kansas, nowhere near the success, and do risk falling behind WSU in terms of state allegiance and even recruiting in the state.

They have something to defend/fight over by playing WSU ... Kansas doesn't as much.
