Grats for the win, but you're supposed to win the games where you pay maybe $60 - $80K for the opponent to show up at your house.

Hey Aargh, I do not know if this was a "buy game ." I do know that there are no gimme games.
San Antonio-Texas won 19 games last year.

I am going to keep track of UTSA this season. They are coming off back-to-back 19 win seasons and look good. They have a point guard who would start at any Valley school who could consistently create his own shot. They also had a nice 6'9" kid who is on the Australian national team who could shoot from anywhere in the area code, bang inside, rebound the ball, and run the floor. He looks like an absolute steal for UTSA. I will be very surprised if they do not win their conference and get 20+ wins this year.

Gotta say I was surprised by UTSA.....they were much much better than Id thought they would be. Im not saying they were deep, but their starting lineup was very much what you would typically see from a Valley team not named Evansville. They were bigger and more athletic at all of the positions than we are and wow, I was impressed with that Hill kid. The point guard was fun to watch as well. More importantly, we got the win and it was a much needed win with our upcoming schedule. The next 5 games could be brutal, we're not known as a team that travels well and can someone, anyone learn how to block out.......PLEASE. Other than the rebounding, we played well and played hard. Hopefully thats a sign of things to come from Jahr. Good win Aces.
