But if we're the Eagles, WSU has to be Joe Walsh. That pretty much goes without saying.

Does that make UNI Don Henley??

Lately, most of the league is "Dust In The Wind"

Dan Muller's mantra his first year: "Carry On My Wayward Son" . . . but carry on somewhere else, please.

Getting multiple teams in the NCAA tournament . . . "Miracles Out of Nowhere" (Ok, not true this year, but I couldn't resist)

On a good night, some teams will "Fight Fire With Fire", some might barely "Hold On" for victory, while others will hit "The Wall".

Oh well, might as well just "Play The Game Tonight" and prepare for our "Magnum Opus".

WSU players have been heard lamenting that suddenly, "Everybody's My Friend", now that it's well known how for Shocker opponents, a double-digit deficit at halftime is the "Point of Know Return".

Jazzlyn Little. The song is for every team that's left the Valley in the last 45 - 50 years. The judges' comments are for every time the Valley gets a decent team, good things are said about them, but in the end it's just talk - no lasting respect. WSU appears to be breaking out of that stereotype.

Jazzlyn didn't make it to the second round of X-Factor, even thought the judges said they loved her and she seemed to have the ability to go a long ways. Kind of like some MVC teams.

Check out the video of someone who didn't get an invite to continue. That's pretty much the story of Hinson at MSU. Got the stuff to go a long ways, but doesn'6t get the opportunity.

Edit: I went to check out what she's been up to lately, and this one popped up, which is another statement that sorta fits the Valley - "Almost Is Never Enough"
