A lot of Shocker fans have no recollection of playing on Thursdays, which is a good thing but please be kind to those who are playing on Thursdays. -- DUShock, WSU Class of 95

I harbor no illusions that we will actually win, but I am glad to see us not getting kicked around.

Geez this Shox dawgs contest is ugly. Not a whole lot better than the 2 play in games.

I am impressed with Pendleton, quite a competitor. A lot of crazy calls.

What a terrible game. Shox basically win it on a 4 minute stretch of pressing in the 1st half.

UE up 15-13 on ISUr just 6 minutes in. Talk about an offensive explosion compared to the rest of the weekend...

I believe SIU will be a contender under Barry. His young team is scrappy and starting 2 freshmen and 2 sophomores will bare fruit the next several seasons. He is in dire need of a quality JuCo point guard. I am glad the Shocks win. 'Tis the season to win and advance.

Does SIU try that hard to rebound against non-WSU teams? They have crashed 3-4 guys on both ends in all of the matchups this year. It gave them some opportunities, and also led to a few WSU run-outs.

I know which team is the dumbest team in the conference and it is not even a close decision.
