Aces still down double digits, not a good night once again for the MVC, we're running out of chances to improve our lot.

56-45 Arkansas leads

Evansville down 62-48 against a not-so-good Arkansas team.

Mock is 6/6. Wing is 6/6. Balentine has taken almost as many shots as the two of them together. Balentine is 2/11.

It's good to see some offense coming from anyone other than Balentine, but UE still looks like if you can stop Balentine, or he has a bad night, it doesn't matter what the players around him are doing - UE will lose.

UE doesn't seem to have much D.

Towards the end they said they were 3-16 from 3 point land and I'm like wow that's bad but then I remembered being at RA on Saturday and seeing ISU start 3-29 or somethin like that :-? kids these days need to learn how to shoot instead of practicing dunks!

Nice stat. But worth noting that the Aces bench didn't make a field goal all night (39 bench minutes). Not a lot of options if DJ has a rough shooting night.

Perimeter defense is not important to Marty. Maybe partly because this group of players is so-so to below average defensively, but I've seen it for enough years now that I think it's just part of the system.

Maybe there would be more options on the bench if they got to play and develop during blowout wins instead of running out Balentine for 39 minutes to get his numbers.
