Yes, you need to stay until 6:30 am

At least the sun will be coming up at that point.

Glad to hear he'll be okay.

I just don't get why anyone, especially a "famous" person, known to have a large amount of money (and flashing it), ever puts themselves in situations like that. The number of times I hear/read about bar fights/stabbings/shootings/etc... that happen after midnight is enough to keep me away from that kind of life. Hell, even when I was in school and that age it did.

No doubt he put himself in a bad situation. But most young men in their teens to early twenties do such things. It doesn't make them a bad person or mean they aren't intelligent. Hopefully he learns from this.

We already had this discussion on shockernet. Being at a strip club at 4:30 am doesn't mean that you deserve to, or should even expect to get robbed. Legal activities that are morally left of center are not justifiable reasons for burglary. While one's life choices may not be something that we would agree with, it doesn't mean he was "asking" to be victimized. Cle did not take precautions above and beyond those of a normal 24 year old...that's it.

According to an article in the NY Post, Cle's GF had been at the club before. If true, perhaps she had a friend working there. That might explain why Cle ended up in a bad part of town at a bad strip club. The bad strip club opinion comes from Yelp, where the reviews are somewhat worse than brutal.

I don't want to sound too political, but it's very hard to legally own a gun in NYC.

It might be easier to hire a body guard.

I went to a Knicks message board and at least a few are hoping this incident will be one step further to making all guns illegal everywhere. There were literally people blaming this on the lack of stringent gun laws in other states.

Aha! So she is the robber!

Or is that title not applicable until AFTER marriage ;)
[Insert snappy comeback]
