You and scotte101 are two of the hard cases on the BEARNATION. I doubt either of you know much Bear history from earlier than 2010---probably when you were students--if that far back. Believe me, BB in 1950 was the same as BB in 2018 (dribble, pass, shoot, score, play defense). Plus those teams 20/50 60 years ago played before packed crowds (5OOO fans) in McDonald--do you even know where McDonald is located.
I mention Vanatta and Mathews only to highlight that there were/are coaches who can successfully move from NAIA and D2. to D1. Thus I offer up the names and qualifications/ records of McCollum and Boschee as valid candidates.
And All-MVC Fan agrees with me on McCollum. Doubt if he knows much about Boschee.
