Would doubt it. Have a Texas Tech grad transfer coming in.

Still need a 5 to compete with Obi this year. Would imagine one goes there.

That shouldn't affect their pursuit of Roberts one bit unless Webster will be a part of the program for multiple years. Roberts is not a graduate transfer and is rherefore subject to the red transfer rule. If Webster is a normal one year graduate transfer he would play during Roberts redshirt year. This move would be about securing a longer term solution for the Bears at PG. As for their need at Center I don't think there's much left on the market for size especially as a grad transfer. Maybe Mats Stockman the guy who just left Minnesota. His numbers are very underwhelming but maybe he'd do better from a productivity and playing time standpoint in the MVC.

Gotcha. Just presumed that someone from DePaul to MSU was going to be a grad-transfer

Bears replace Lawrence with 6'6" Josh Hall from Nevada. Will sit one year and then play two.

This season might be a rebuilding year, but next season will not be. The Bears will be ready to go with Ridder, Hall, Tulio, Freeman being 3-4 star players and the Polish twins, Black, and others not far behind.

HCDF is building something big in Springfield.

He literally just decommitted from Nevada. How on Earth did this happen so fast? Has there ever been such a quick resolution to a transfer situation?

Nevada oversigned because of the NBA-in-limbo guys.

What’s encouraging about Hall is he really improved throughout the year.

Double digit points:
5 of first 27
6 of final 8 (including Texas, Cincinnati, & Loyola)

Josh Webster, from Texas Tech, confirmed.

Bears are releasing JUCO guard, Butler, from his commitment.

Really disappointed to lose Butler I think but HCDF is going after guys he wants

I don't understand this one. I guess you add Webster for a year and then use his scholarship right away for 2019. I guess I answered my own question.

Needed a PG this year badly.

Why are they releasing players if they still have open scholarships? Also one of the guys Ford released was a guard who was really coming on down the stretch. Very confusing. Should there be concern as to whether this will hurt Missouri State in future recruiting?

I think Ford wants his own guys and he thinks Webster fits his style of play better than Lawrence does.

I originally thought we could compete at the top of the conference this year but I really think Ford is planning on this being a rebuilding year and the following year is when we compete for conference titles.
