SIU wins again by a bucket over Missouri St
Loyola gets good home victory over the Sycamores

Missouri St rolls at home over Valpo
Indiana St guard play is main factor in win over Bradley
Loyola takes Drake on the road
Illinois St starts off 2-0 in conference over a very game Evansville squad
SIU handles UNI with relative ease

Indiana State - Indiana State has been pretty good, at least from what I've seen

SIU - UNI looks to be the worst team to me

Valpo at Missouri State - Missouri State b/c they are at home
Bradley at Indiana State - Indiana State b/c Bradley sucks on road and ISU has been better
Loyola at Drake - Loyola - nevermind this is the best game of the week. Custer vs Norton!
Evansville at Illinois State - Illinois State b/c they are at home

Aces > Drake
Braves > UNI
Salukis > MSU
Ramblers > ISU

All home teams on opening night with the upset pick of the UE Aces over DU Bulldogs.

SAT Jan.5

Bears > Valpo....really a toss-up
Trees > Bradley....Braves a not a great road team and ISU should win by 10 or more
Bulldogs > LUC....DU bounces back with a good W against Loyola
Redbirds > UE....ISU defends home in a close one
Salukis > UNI....might be a lot closer than most think

Anyhow, should be a wild and wooly ride this Valley season as top to bottom it'll be hard to predict. Wait...this is the MVC so it's almost par for the course. Definitely looking forward to the games this season as it should be wide open MVC race and a battle each and every night.....oooo yeah!

Southern Illinois at UNI. SIU. 3 of their 6 losses were to Top 25 teams.
