Only when Drake had the ball.

As far as UE holding him scoreless for the first 8 minutes, that means nothing. Norton is a guy who looks to set up his teammates first. It's usually only later in the game where he actually starts looking for his own shot. In Drake's win in the championship game in Las Vegas, Norton had only 8 points with 2 minutes left in regulation. He finished with 31. He's not a guy who's looking to score all the time, but he can absolutely take over a game.

This. Norton was going to be in contention for player of the year in the Valley. Drake turned the ball over 19 times without him and lost in double-OT with a freshman, walk-on point guard playing instead. This seriously isn't supposed to a rip on Evansville but it's not unreasonable to assume that Drake having their best player would have led to a different outcome.

Yes, the Aces might have won by 1, rather than 5. This is all conjecture. I doubt that Norton would have had a better night than KJ Riley's 25 points, and Marty Hill's 24 with two huge 3's, and a steal and monstrous dunk in overtime.
