I think Loyola goes 13-5 with 2nd place finishing 11-7.

The bottom of the league isn't anywhere near as bad as it should be and the top isn't anywhere near as good as it should be. It's just damn weird.

What with all the injuries and 2'nd semester eligibilities I can see individuals and teams with late bloom potential. Proper cultivation between now and March will determine how the W-harvest is sorted out.

Speaking only to the teams with which I have been most focused.
Loyola- best case 15-3 worst case 13-5
ISU-r. best 13-5 worst 9-9
VU. best 12-6 worst 10-8
SIU. best. 11-7. worst 8-10
Bradley. best. 10-8. worst--You don't want me to say it. :Bam:

Bradley ain't going 10-4 on the way out. Also think your worst cases for Valpo and SIU are pretty optimistic, could totally see the bottom falling out.

While I wouldn't bet on Bradley finding 10 wins predicting a Wardle team is a tricky business and I am not yet ready to write them off.

As for SIU, predicting 6 more wins in 13 games is a bet that should be taken.

Valpo is 4-1 with 3 road games against what by far was predicted to be the cream of the MVC crop. So for them to finish with less than 10 victories (injuries aside) would require them to go 5-8 with 7 remaining home games.
If Fazekas returns Saturday I would bet the farm on them finding 6 more wins. Any takers?

I am watching the Drake v. Bradley game now, and I am ready to write them off.

It's embarrassing to be a fan of Bradley Basketball right now. I've never seen a team quit like this before. It just doesn't makes sense since these guys worked so hard to get the program back.

Me too! While I watched the other 2 games because this one was blacked out, getting blown out at home by 17 is an indication of a team throwing in the towel.

Next?
