Bradley was picked 4th, UNI 5th. As of now these are likely finishing spots for both teams. Wardle and Jake have done good jobs righting their respective ships but I dont think either is in a position for COY. This award should be reserved for the coach of the title winning team or a coach, like Ford or Devries, who has completely surpassed preseason expectations.

Still doesn't sound like underachieving, especially if they both win out. Which would give Loyola 2 more losses. Imo ISU red and Blue and Loyola, Siu are the underachievers Drake and Msu are overachievers but only time will tell. Everything is still wide open.

It will be interesting see what happens if Drake and MSU finish with identical records. In that case you could make an equally strong case for both coaches.

Between those I think Drake’s has the more impressive season. He built that team almost from scratch in the offseason. And recovered from the loss of a great PG mid season.
