Unfortunate the scheduling software in 2019 disallows Murray from entering the league. Kicking the Big East runner-up’s ass by 22.

I Think Murray is the real deal and Morant is incredible, but will it annoy people to say Marquette also just played really bad? Airballing shots, whiffing on open dunks, just really really ugly offense. They looked totally lost after the first 15 minutes. Howard dropped 26 points but also shot an absurd amount of shots and only 2 assists.

Could be way off but I'm expecting the next one to be a closer battle.

Still, go Racers, Valley or not, I love that program

Murray State gets it done all the time. They get first round NBA players, they get great coaches. It is hard to get a seat there. MVC needs to sign them up.

Why would they come now? The OVC just racked up at minimum 4 units and they just picked up their third tournament win of the decade from the OVC. Why bother with the extra expense and travel? I hope they still want to come. It might help you all forget what an awful dumpster fire we've become and give us time to (hopefully) turn it around one day.

I just watched 15 seed Bradley give Mich St all they could handle and then saw some of 13 seed Northeastern v Kansas. It’s obvious the NCAA Committee doesn’t watch the games because those seeds, at minimum, should have been reversed.

The same was true last year when Loyola should have been no higher than 6 or 7 seed.

I don't blame you one bit... I do think the MVC is a good (the best) long-term plan for Murray State because I think with the Racers we can be a consistent 2-3 bid league, but the argument for staying has to be really compelling right now... The "who needs who more" script is really beginning to flip in Murray State's favor though especially if they can sustain the momentum they've just generated.

Northeastern was a good team, I'll defend that 13 seed.

If we wanna point out seeding problems, I'd like to reference Abilene Christian, who is on the same seed line as Bradley. Woof.

Belmont and Murray are going to be good again next year. The MVC may have missed it's chance - but hey, there's always Valpo! Good luck with that.
