Man was that a wild one in Springfield! Braves dominate early, lead by as much as 14 I think and go up 10 at the break. MSU comes roaring back and gets its own ten point lead midway through the second half.

Bradley freshman Ville Tahvaneinen saved the day with three HUGE three point shots down the stretch to cut the lead. JaShon Henry made play after play and worked so much harder than the MSU post guys.

The talent on the MSU roster is ridiculous. Dana doesn't know who to play. Da Silva does nothing. Mohammed does nothing. They don't seem very well prepared...but good lord is the talent there.

A really good win for Bradley and a bad loss for the Bears.

Valpo's very game effort against UNI comes up short but I'm proud of this team. Overcame slow starts to each half to build a lead gave up some big threes to Haldeman that ended up being the difference. The duel between Green and Freeman-Liberty was nuts, yet the top teams in the conference all won by convincing margins. Big picture this was a great night in the MVC. Indiana State needs some love too. They look GOOD.

I'm high on Indiana State. They will finish somewhere in the top four.

Freeman LIberty coming back to Valpo changed the entire outlook of the program now, and in the future. I actually think hes probably the best player in the league.

Better than Green? I think he might be especially when you factor his all around game. I hope they both stay for four years. The conference needs them and their duels have been tremendous every time.

I think he is better all around than Green. AJ was horrific defensively last year and is adequate this year - but still not good. Freeman-Liberty is a much better defensive player. But two really, really impressive sophomores.

Future NBA players both methinks. Possibly both first round picks if they both continue to develop.

Green isn't going anywhere. Dad on staff.

He'll be UNI's all time leading scorer by a wide margin. He'll get to 1000 career points sometime in early February. He's at 838 after tonight.

Not even for a guaranteed NBA contract? That's a powerful lure. I really hope you're right because he could totally lead a deep UNI tournament run or three if he stays all four years which is good for everyone.
