These are just kind of depressing to me this year... Appreciated, but depressing.

One of these years Missouri State will maximize their talent and perform to its level and we'll all be better off for it. If they had just finished a few games OOC we would be thinking quite differently about them.

I appreciate your positivity as well. I kind of wondered if the Bears had of won at Xavier if things would have caught fire, but then you look at some of the rest of the games and effort just isn't there, scheme isn't there, and defense definitely isn't there. I still think there is a small chance of them starting to get it together, but line of thinking dwindles daily. I haven't seen a Bears team this disjointed since Marcus Marshall left the program back in 2015.

I totally hear you. I look at a couple of games for us this year (Cincinnati Arkansas Loyola especially) and think "If only..." I feel like we're starting to come together though. I think we have a group that likes playing for one another and with one another and who might be a surprise team come next season. There's a lot of talent in the Valley though but with Javon Freeman-Liberty we'll likely have the best player on the floor most nights especially if he develops his outside shot more over the offseason and that can take you far.

The Hacksaw computer doesn't seem to like the Salukis much. Lol.

That's ok. They're playing the under dog role pretty well these days.

I mean, I guess you can be mad a math and probability if you want to be. The Sagarin Predictor is probably right that there is going to be some regression to the mean.

I'm not sure how any SIU fan could possibly be upset playing in the 4/5 game this year if that's indeed what happens...

I think we all would have taken that to start the year... Although, I am not sure what the mean is for this team. I think more than regression to the mean a couple results may just fall less favorably. Also, although just 5 percent the computers do give SIU the second highest chances of winning the league.

I'm not upset. Would love to see the Salukis one of the top two seeds in St Louis, but that's a tall order.

First goal is to avoid playing on Thursday and I think a win at home on Saturday could clinch that. One game at a time; last night almost gave me a heart attack.
