FWIW here is the seating chart for 2013.
http://www.courierpressblogs.com/sports ... eating.jpgAs you can see, Wichita and Creighton (top 2 seeds) have seats on the sidelines where they would be seen on Championship Sunday on TV. They just have such a high percentage of fans that they also wrap all the way around behind the basket.

Each team gets access to the same number of seats in the middle, and then it flares out from there. If your team has more tickets sold, you end up flaring out more. If you're a top two seed, you'll be on the side the cameras will be pointing on Sunday.
And I am pretty sure schools allocate seats within their section, not the MVC.
