Ok. Panthers won at Valpo.

Question for non-Panther fans: What did you think of the officiating?

The middle pack tightens. SIU emerges as sole 2nd place team. with a visit from Missouri State on the weekend docket. The upper half teams will look to hold serve this weekend against lower half teams.

Salukis pull out a slug fest in Evansville. 64-60 in OT. Lance Jones took over in the added period. He had 8 of the 10 points for SIU. Salukis 8-3 and in second. Evansville falls to 0-11.

Evansville was impressive. Was a one man team on offense but you can tell Lickliter is doing good things there.

Indiana State put on an absolute clinical performance. Blew Loyola out of the gym. I have watched a lot of college basketball this year and that offensive performance by ISUb was as good as any I have seen by any team. Just a few weeks after Loyola ran the Sycs out of Gentile by 20.

Loyola shooting 3-19 from 3 didn't help matters.

If SIU can hold on @Evansville, they will have sole possession of 2nd. Wow.

Yes, we never wanted him to leave. Glad he's going well though, just hopefully not against us in the future haha.

I know SIU has some bad losses early in the season but it’s funny that Illinois State and SIU are both considered quad 3 losses for UNI

Announced a sellout a few hours ago. Now, what we don't know is if its an old school McLeod Center SRO people everywhere 7000+ people sellout or if its just a we list capacity at 6650 and that's what we sold.

I'm guessing the latter.
