I wouldn't be too worried if I were SIU. You guys are two games clear of the teams fighting it out for the last spot in the top six. It would be hard to imagine the Salukis falling that far especially given how well they've played.

UNI is not considered a bubble team because they have the MVC auto bid.

No - we won't have that until (and IF) we win at the Arch.

The ISUr and SIU losses hurt. The SIU one is interesting. Mullins is doing great, but understandably didn't have his team ready for the OOC. SIU is at this point not-a-bad-loss. But mathematically they're 141 NET. Sad we lost that one.

I think that if we lose another MVC Conference game, hopes of an At-Large are gone. And if we win out, we'll be a solid bubble team heading into Arch Madness. But that's IF. Must win first. Still have several challenging games...

SIU was in the top 5 I believe in teams with most new players, either 10 or 11. They have 3 freshman who get extensive minutes. Mullins is performing something of a miracle.

Seconded. Jake has had a tremendous season but everyone thought UNI would be pretty good. SIU? Not so much. The head to head victory by SIU should count for a heck of a lot as well.

Yep, assuming SIU doesn't fall apart it's 100% Mullins. Jake would be 2nd and then you can pick number 3 out of a hat between Moser, Lansing and Wardle.

I disagree that everyone thought UNI would be pretty good. I know several people on here who had them pegged as a Thursday team.

That said, if it stays as it is now its obviously Mullins. Some may have thought UNI wouldn't be good. EVERYONE thought SIU wouldn't be good.

Who would have thought a team with A.J. Green on it and coached by Ben Jacobson would be a Thursday team? That's ridiculous. If you didn't want to have them as the preseason favorites fine but the idea that this UNI squad wasn't a preseason top 4 team at least? Please.
