I would pull Berhow for Pickford/Kimmons these last 9 minutes. You could go back to Berhow this weekend but he’s killing them today. No points and fouls/TOs to giftwrap Drake points.

I'm gutted right now as an MVC fan... Absolutely gutted... I wanted this league to be a multibid league or at least send its best team so we had a shot at a tournament run... Who left in the field can do that? Nobody. This is a sad and terrible day for the MVC. Again all credit to Drake they were amazing today and this effort by UNI deserves nothing except this drubbing but you can't spin this as good for the conference in any way present or even future really.

We are witnessing history. The #1 seed has NEVER lost to the 8/9 PIG winner. We have only seen the #2 seed lose to a PIG team once and that was way back in 1998.

And like the first time a 16 beat a 1 in the Dance, it isn't even dramatic! It is a damn ROUT. UNI with a 10 minute scoring draught--how is that even possible?

So if SIU was a bad team when they beat UNI (which UNI fans said) is Drake also a bad team or is the reality that UNI is just very average away from home? This is a good lesson for the team. They're young talented and they'll be back but it has to be earned every game needs to be treated with its due importance and not treated like a cakewalk. I feel like UNI fans by and large treated the tournament (or at least a tournament bid as some sort of birthright but they need to learn to win on the road. Good luck in the NIT and I hope they make a good run but this is understandably very disappointing.

I thought It was a very entertaining game, we just witnessed history. Yes it sucks that any chance of a multi-bid are gone but I think It’s a bit ridiculous acting like UNI is the only team capable of making some noise in the tournament. Yes they had the best season but they didn’t play well when it mattered most and just got destroyed. The valley is deep this year, I think multiple teams could cause some upsets.
