Question for anyone/everyone...

When it comes to the ALL-MVC awards, is it your opinion that the individual (or coach's) entire season's stats should be considered? Or only the MVC conference stats?

Personally, I use conference only and use the full year to break 'ties'...

The best freshman in the league is Marquis Kennedy. However, because he plays for a veteran Loyola team he didn't get as much run as Domask, Clay, LaRavia, etc. I'm also pretty high on Lance Jones.

DJ Horne should be added to this list.

Liam Robbins must be pretty good if he's finishing with 1st AND 2nd team awards

You saw him play against Bradley twice right? :)

Edited to add Zach Copeland to second team.

And Noah Carter.

The future of this league is crazy bright.

I'd agree with this, his numbers in the time he played are really impressive (he's only playing 20 minutes a game), especially for a freshman. I think he's got a real shot at 6th man of the year, which would be awesome.

That said, I think Domask has to be FotY. He's been outstanding and has really carried that team at times. Him and Jones are a great duo. Clay's super smooth and has great size. LaRavia and Williams are also real nice pieces, as is Ville from Bradley... i think UNI would have actually benefited a bit by playing Cater and Kimmons a few more minutes each game as well.

I feel like this years freshman class was a lot stronger than in years past.
