You are welcome for the big pile of crap we left on the floor. And I’d love to know how much it took to pay off the stripes calling it but I can’t totally blame the refs and refuse to.

That was probably the worst guard play I’ve seen a Murray team have in years. We never could get over that hump of taking a lead thanks to untimely turnovers or stupid shots that went against our offensive plan. Thought we had an edge inside with our bigs but we failed to use them but that was partially due to foul trouble.

Apparently we didn't pay the stripes enough or the Murray player who took three steps without dribbling to the basket would not have been shooting free throws! Good teams cause other teams to foul them. Losers whine about the refs. SIU played tenacious defense. Great to see SIU defend the interior without a true center, given that JD Mulia is out for the year with an injury. Brian Mullins finds ways to win. Now let's go beat Duquesne!

Biggest only because Boo-Hoo BBQ Barry was at Southern for 7 or so years.Dawgs are back. The MVC wannabes got a little taste of what SIU is going to be in a year or two. Stay tuned.

Nice win, but not sure this is a vintage Murray State team. They had already lost by 17 to a pedestrian Middle Tenn. St team earlier and had a hard time putting Illinois State away as well. But still Murray is Murray .

I'd add to Murraygrad 05 though, never a good look to cry about officiating after a loss on another leagues fan board. Cry all you want on your home board, but as a guest stay humble and take your loss. You gave SIU no credit . :Violin:

UNI game is canceled today. Green Bay's release blames an outbreak at UNI. Apparently that's not true and Green Bay wants the check without actually playing the game because Richmond had been paused. s*** show.

UNI is right on track to play Wisconsin on Wednesday.

UE/SLU game cancelled today too. No positive tests on UE team but UT-Martin went into Covid protocol after the 12/2/20 game. Sounds like SLU not willing to play UE since it has only been 10 days since that game.

Oh yea I’m sure no one has ever complained about officiating on this board. I apologize... When you have 21 fouls to 11 and 27 free throws compared to 6 it just seems odd.

If you read again you’ll see I did not blame the refs. We just didn’t show up until halfway through the second half and even then that wasn’t the same team we were on Tuesday night. Mullins did have a good strategy on guarding Tevin but we did nothing to adjust to the pressure. Tevin always seems to disappear when pressure is applied. That’s about the only weakness in his game is he can’t create much on his own.

All SIU had to do was let Hill shoot and that was the only strategy you needed. Still think we are way more talented than SIU but just had a god awful night. Think it’s time we pull a coach K and wish for a shut down before we have any more nights like this one.

I think what you’re trying to say is, Murray lost to the better team and I’m mad so I decided to go whine about it on another leagues fan page because I’m sad.

If you played better all the bad officiating in the world wouldn't have mattered. Like when you beat ISU by 10 or more the refs couldn't have made a difference in that one. But, you see I just say ISU was bad that game I don't blame the officials. Play better and shut up and nothing else matters.

Ouch, but pretty much spot on 90. The Saluki D shut down, and frustrated a team picked to win their conference. Beautiful to watch! Go Dawgs!

You're blowing about a victory over a mid-major from the Ohio Valley?

First place preseason pick in Ohio Valley vs last place preseason pick in the Big 12, not much difference there!
