So happy for Alize, one of the really good guys.

Good for him. :)
I'm glad to have been wrong. Perhaps I've become too pessimistic these days.

Alize goes for 20 pts and 21 rebounds as Nets beat the Pacers, the team he was drafted by but never gave him a chance . First player to go for a 20/20 off the bench on the road in 29 years. Kid just can't get regular min , but is averaging 5.5 pts, 4.6 rbs shooting 61% fg in 10 minutes a game over 12 games. Go Zay !

One of these NBA teams is gonna give him a actual chance and then wonder why the others didn't when he double/doubles every night out. His game has limitations, but hustle, rebounding and ability to run the court and handle on the break aren't among them, and if you watch NBA basketball, those first two are in short supply many nights.

I'm a Bulls fan and I LOVE this signing! I wanted him in Chicago the instant the Nets waived him. His numbers (5ppg 5RPG) don't look like much until you realize that he did that in just over 10 minutes per game. Per 36 is a flawed stat but it has him averaging an eye popping 17.1RPG. He even has at least one 20\20 game at the NBA level. It's not like he hasn't shown that he has the potential to be a competent NBA starter or at the very least a terrific bench player at this level it's just that he hasn't landed in the right spot for him to showcase his talents and flourish yet. The Nets liked him they just didn't have the minutes for him with their roster composition and recent additions. I think the Bulls could really be that spot where he finally does showcase his ability. I was already excited about the team's offseason and eager to watch them this year and this signing only makes me even more excited. Alize is a super hard worker who has even drawn praise from stars like Kevin Durant. I have liked him ever since I watched him absolutely dominate Valpo in our first year in the MVC (especially in the latter two meetings).

Zay is a really good guy, and one thing you'll always get from him on the court is effort/hustle. And he always rebounds at a high rate.

Thanks for the kind words. One of my all time favorite Bears. In my opinion all he needs is some playing time to show what he can do.
