My Flames must learn how to close out games better! Missed shots are gonna happen, but unable to get the ball inbounds under pressure and making turnovers is unacceptable! On the bright side though, we've now won as many conference games than we have in each of our first two seasons as members of the Valley!

On 2pt shots tonight:

Bradley 71%
ISUb 35%

Yowza. Top of my head, I can't remember a game where one team doubled the other's shooting percentage.

Ehsan has done a great job. That team plays really hard.

Ehsan is killing it. Who would’ve thought UIC would be 115 in NET halfway through Year 1? Or 40+ spots ahead of both schools that left in the last decade?

We've just needed a good coach who could put together a system/philosophy, use his players to their best advantage and make good in-game adjustments. So far, Ehsan and his staff have done an admirable job. The team still has some things to work on and tighten up. Arch Madness should be crazy!

Can the league allow SIU to play Mo State eight more times?

In the spirit of beggars can't be choosers, I will gladly accept these two wins. The season was in a VERY lowly place 10 days ago, and in playing Belmont close and winning these two, it looks like the team at least has not quit and is showing some signs of life. It's still a very flawed (and shorthanded) team, but I will make the bold statement that the Dawgs will defeat a non-Missouri State opponent before this 2024-25 conference slate is through.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but I was reading through various team message boards, finally landed on the BU board and, to my surprise, there was a post complaining about...the in-house coverage.

Apparently BU doesn't really have a sports information department any more.

So I went to the school's website and as of 11:20 a.m. EST the day after (roughly 13.5 hours later) the Braves smashed Indiana State, there is no game story on Bradley's website.

There is a box score, but that's it.

I do understand that there has been a shift in communication focus across many campuses, but that's embarrassing. It's not as embarrassing as the former SID asking the newspaper to be a cheerleader for BU instead of a journalist and blocking his access, but BU should be ashamed of itself for not being able to do the simplest of tasks.

You don't need a novel, just a few paragraphs. Tell us the result, who scored the most, a few fun facts and tell us who they play next and how to watch/listen. Simple.

What made SIU’s win impressive is Missouri St had a White Out. It’s not often you see a league bottom-feeder escape a Sea of White in a raucous road environment with a blowout W.
