best case for multi bids is for WSU to win out, win the league and get beat my MSU in the championship game of the tourney. Of course that still keeps WSU on the bubble and I'd hate to be sweating it on selection sunday.

This is correct. In 2009, Northern Iowa and Creighton tied for the regular season crown. UNI got the number one seed at the tourney due to the tiebreaker (they split in head to head competition, each winning on the other's floor). Both schools were recognized as co-regular season champs.

Purely speaking in terms of getting two bids, I don't think it matters which team it is, but either MSU or WSU has to win out to the finals, and whichever team loses the MSU-WSU game has to exact revenge on the other to win the tournament. Each team can only take one more loss, one in the finale and one in the conference finals, to have any chance at two bids, and that may not even do it.

I don't see why it has to be WSU or MSU winning STL to get 2 bids...If either one makes it to the final without losing between now and then and gets beats by CU or ISUb, I still think we get 2 bids.

Now, if we want to talk best shot at having 2 teams with chances to make a run to the 2nd weekend in the tourney, I would agree with you

I haven't watched Lunardi or anyone recently, but I didn't think we had any chance of 2 bids after WSU lost at home again. What do the talking heads say?

According to realtimerpi, WSU has ZERO wins over top 50 teams and only two wins over top 100 teams (tulsa and UNI). I wouldn't bet on them getting an at large.

WSU has 2 more top 100 games left to strengthen their resume (VCU and MSU), maybe 3 if they face UNI in the tourney. They're still being mentioned as a bubble team. A lot has to do with them winning out and other bubble teams losing.

There will be no co-champions. That will be clear after the Shox whip some Bear a$$ in Springfield in a week and a day. Please tell me MSU is doing a "white out" for the game.

And if Indiana State can finish strong that could be two more. I believe someone showed them currently sitting at 107.

Indiana St, sits at (106), Evansville (121) and Creighton at (136).

Both Indiana St. and Creighton still have to play UNI (76).

All of these teams need to win their bracketbusters to create the perfect storm. For UNI to get a win over GMU (20) would be huge.

Then certain scenarios would have to play out along with games in the valley tourney and in a perfect world, all 4 of those teams could be top 100 (but UNI beating GMU is the cog).

-Then WSU would be looking at 8-9 wins over the top 100. (VCU/MSU could be top 50 wins potentially. In certain scenarios UNI could be one as well)

-MSU could have 7-8 top 100 wins (2 top 50 potentially over Valpo/WSU. In a certain scenario UNI as well)

Again, this is a perfect storm scenario. Certainly a good start would be for every valley team to win their bracketbusters to bring all of that RPI from outside of the conference to inside of the conference.

Good luck this weekend everyone.
