And not to pile on, but as a fellow Jays fan, you're not doing Creighton any favors by bragging about how well they played in Wichita, in case you didn't notice, they lost. In the same arena and during the same season that SIU won. So I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that Creighton is going to have to play a whole hell of a lot better than they played on Wednesday if you are in fact correct that WUSU is capable of winning Arch Madness in their sleep.

Why so angry? Yes, SIU won in Wichita in what was probably the poorest performance by the Shox this year. It happens. Apparently since we lost that game, we suck and shouldn't beat anyone? Nevermind the 14-3 record and undefeated road record so far... Someone sounds like they need to chill. CU played MUCH better against us in Wichita than they did in Omaha and gave themselves a chance to win. I can understand why CU fans could take some positives from that game considering how up and down their season has been. They play like that and they will be in a position to beat anyone.

The Shox proved if they play like they did against SIU they're capable of getting beat by anyone.

With such a weak bubble this year, does WSU still get in if they lose in the title game? Had they not lost at home to SIU I would say yes, but right now I can't say that.

I'm not angry, I'm just being realistic. It's very unnerving to get on here and read about how 9 teams just shouldn't bother showing up in St. Louis, when the reality is that after 17 of 18 games, the regular season champion has yet to be crowned.

Yes, Creighton played well in Wichita. But they still lost. My point was that Creighton will have to play better than that to have a shot in St. Louis, in the context of this particular poster's constructed world in which Wichita is guaranteed to win Arch Madness.

I guess he did say, "not even close". Even as a Shocker fan I wouldn't go that far. I'm not surprised that those who've posted seem to favor us when it comes to 3 games in 3 days and we can all understand the reasoning behind that. But the Bears are a very talented team. I expect us both to be playing on Sunday and I do also think that our depth can help in that situation.

The thing that sucks about all of this is only one team will probably be dancing after next weekend. I think both of our teams are very capable of winning a few games given the right matchups. The Lou should be a lot of fun. And so should Springfield tomorrow!!!

There was a time in the not to distant past ( 2 weeks ago) I could envision a scenario where my Purple Aces had a shot at the title. At this point I think WSU is the favorite but I would not be surprised if the Blue Jays came away with the prize. I always have hope for the Aces every Arch Madness but regardless come NCAA tourney time I will cheer for the MVC representative(s).

I agree with you on the hope for our teams. I am hoping that Indiana State makes a good run in St. Louis. The match-ups went the way I really didn't want to see with MSU beating WSU. But we can't change it. We just have to go with it and then hope that our teams go for a good run!!!!

WSU has to be the favorite. They're deep, and they have something to prove. The WSU trap was getting to MSU at the end of the game, and I think it would be the decider in the third game in three days. I like CU as the dark horse.

I like this bracket actually. I'm not saying that I like who you picked to win the tourney. Lol. But you have to admit, Missouri State Vs. Indiana State for the championship would be an awesome game to watch.
