FWIW, I'd take them both in a second.

I think ISU has a very good PG coming in along with a very athletic 6-3 guard and a 6-4 shooter.

I think the talent at the guard spots are gonna be on the upswing.

How about this - We send you a guard and you send us Carmichael? I'm tired of that guy looking like an all-american against us! ;)

That's probably a good sign for BU, because I've heard it's a done deal and he knows.

I view it the same way. As always, things can change in an instant, but I view this as good news for BU fans.

Are you going to add another press conference quote to your signature sometime on or around March 3?

Perhaps. I'm all about accountability. So if there's a presser and Cross/Glasser come out and say things about contending for league titles and NCAA bids, then I may have to hold them to it. When Molinari was let go, then-President Broski was quoted as saying BU should regularly challenge for conference titles and NCAA bids, and that's why Mo was being let go.

Broski was looking very foolish until February of 2006, and looks even more the fool today for those quotes, considering we haven't contended for a league title in 10 years, or won one in 15. If Cross/Glasser make similar statements, I will hold them to it, as well as whoever the replacement may be.

Maybe. Usually I like my quotes to last all year long. Maybe if the new guy says something memorable in his opening presser, or one of the current players reaffirms their commitment after the new guy is hired, I will make that my quote. We shall see.

In the event that Les is retained, the quote isn't changing. ;)

Stewart's team lost last night, so his season has ended. Maybe he can play for BU tonight against Drake.

That isn't a bad idea, but I doubt the new coach would like the idea of having him eligible for only three years.
