The T was called cause Weems touched the ball while the UE guy was throwing it in, that is a automatic T.

Scottrade isn't built for basketball. It is a HOCKEY arena!!!! They put that floor together once a year. They aren't the most familiar with Basketball there.I am from Indiana and I love The Scottrade Center. But I am also a big Blues fan. They won't move it to KC. I hope they don't.

And nobody cares that CU and WSU fans would fill The print Center.

The Valley can't even fill Scottrade right now!!!!

All things considered, I've actually been really pleased with the attendance this year. Not great crowds (nothing can compare to '07 though) but relatively good. I was glad to see many of the fans stick around yesterday after their teams were eliminated thurs/fri.

The arena wasn't built for basketball-only, but playing in a multi-purpose arena and having visited several others, the Scottrade is a great place to see a basketball game. It could use perhaps a scrubbing/repainting on the inside, but overall I like the arena.

And the floor is used more than once a year.

The only dump I experienced on the trip was the Millenium Hotel.

I will sleep on the curb in St Louis before I ever stay at the Millenium every again.

Outside of needing a new floor I like St Louis and Scotttrade.

Other than the fact that no one outside of WSU fans and CU fans really care about KC. You can keep pounding this drum, but it isn't going to make any difference.

+1

STL is great. We have one of the best, most successful conference tournaments in the country.

I wonder how more successful it would be if KC were given a chance.

Nobody else likes it because they know WSU and CU fans would own KC even more than they own St. Louis.

The Savis Center is a dumb. I will completely agree. After being in the Sprint and even Intrust Bank, which should be out of the question, the Scottrade Center is a dump; you cant argue otherwise. Has it been a good place for the Valley recently, yes, but at the very least they should alternate sites. Anyone who has been to KC and the Sprint Center couldn't agree otherwise.

Not only from the aspect of the arena itself. The fact that more tickets will be sold alone should be a strong consideration in moving it, even if it is mainly WSU and CU fans. Simple fact is StL is farther away from Omaha and Wichita then anywhere else in the league and we still consistently have more fans. I wasn't in StL today, but how well did ISU fans travel out for the game today? If WSU or CU were in the championship there would be a mass exodus from Omaha or Wichita to watch them play. If it were in Sprint, the place would be sold out.

As for the area around the arena, I find it to be much more appealing. There are far more eating options and entertainment is easily as good.

Much like Doug Elgin, most of you have become satisfied with the status quo and are unwilling to make changes. Even though a move would be better for the league and would likely make for a better Valley tourney experience for all fans expect perhaps SIU.
Thoughts and prayers to WSU finding a new conference.
