Yeahhhh I get really tired of hearing about this attendance crap...the diehards go, that's good with me...the team who brought all those fans is going home. I almost always have a bad run in with at least one WSU fan...but this past time I had a good experience too so they kinda evened out!...my bad one was while I was standing in line for a Nathans hot dog (who wants a precooked hot dog anyways?) and a WSU fan turns around to me and say this "You know you guys would be a little more competitive if u were in the OVC, u should get out" Like I make decisions abotu ISU athletics lol...I thought about finding the guy after today and saying a retort lol...it happens everyone has their tools but a WSU fan also bought me beer merely for being knowledeable and their for a game that had no bearing really on my team other than WSU winning

I guess I will throw mine out there. At a media TO, I ran to restroom and two shocker fans told me tough loss, in a very sarcastic way. I turn to them and point to my purple shirt that says Evansville not UNI. One says I wouldn't be to proud of that either.

On a side note anyone know how about the fight after the games on Saturday? It was a shocker fan and someone else that I could not tell which fan base. I just know security got there pretty quick as they were knocking people out of the way to get there. It was outside where the buses pick up

From Shockernet.net....at least one Shocker fan is starting to wise up....

"On almost every aspect, we are all talk.

We have won nothing in 25 years and we act like we are the class of everything, and everybody we play. We have 1 regular season title and 1 NCAA appearance. Big whoop! That is embarrassing. And days like today, just make me want to throw up. We are the biggest jokes in the Valley right now. We talk and talk and talk about how we have the best this and the best that, and when it comes time to put up, we fold like a cheap suit every time.

We talk about how we need to get out of the Valley. Hell, seriously? We can't even make it to the finals of the tournament.

I don't know. One sweet 16 appearance is great and all, but we need to have a nice warm glass of STFU until we win something. I'll take the first swig."

This might be the dumbest thing ever. UNI does a silly dance around that looks like fun and their fans enjoy it. When the Creighton fans did the same thing it was pretty spontaneous and funny. If you want to police anyone, look to the MSU students with their derogatory signs and constant taunting of the CU fans. Total bush league. Act like you've been there... oh wait.... nevermind.

I dont think you can really bring the behavior of students into any argument. Especially considering most of the students in St louis will be drunk. I saw the UNI students flipping off the CU fans yesterday (one was escorted out by security) but I certainly dont think any less of their fan base because of it.

Even though everyone knows every school has idiots in the fanbase, some just can't hate WSU enough so they start and contribute to threads such as these.

One of the butch CU fan girls in the striped overalls yelled out "F*** YOU ALL" as they went running by the MSU student section yesterday with their little flags. Yeah, that's class.

How many times have you heard, "WE BRING THE MOST FANS TO ST. LOUIS OF ANY TEAM!" over the past few days? I think what distinguishes WSU fans is that they have a really overpowering habit of patting themselves on the back for being such good fans (which you can't do without making sure to tell every. single. person. you. come. across. how awesome WSU and their fans are).

Though, assuredly, I have to listen to all sorts of idiotic arguments and censorships at MSU's board as well. What's worse, in-fighting or outwardly-boasting?
