I don't know exactly what UNI will look like next year but I trust Coach Jacobson and the players he has and is bringing in. We will definitely need to replace Kwadzo and figure out the defense and rebounding without the bulk of a Lucas but we will have a squad that will be able to shoot from just about anywhere and from any position 1-5.

Pehl will be the only player that won't be an outside threat, which will cause teams to have frets with us. The 6'10" player we have redshirting as well as the 6'8" post recruit we have coming in are both similar to Jake and Adam Koch in being able to go outside and put it on the floor if they have a slower player guarding them. Posting up and making inside moves will be the question with them.

We showed flashes of being able to drive with Anthony James and Marc Sonnen, we are bringing in a guard from Texas who is also supposedly in that mode. We have another freshman guard coming in who played at the same HS as Printy, plays the same type of 'big' shooting guard, and whose brother was a major contributor at Wisconsin. The other freshman wing has been described as being very similar to Jermaine Mallet from MSU, only at 6'5"-6'6".

Again, replacing Kwadzo and O'Rear are the key parts, but penciling us in for Thursday is premature at best.

UNI will be good next year. I don't see us being a play-in team. I would be very very surprised if we didn't finish in the top 6. I think that next will be somewhat similar to this year for UNI, being very up and down and showing some great flashes. Hard to project this far out, but I'd expect 18-20 wins. I think a top half finish again is likely.

UNI should be very, very good in two years if things go as planned.
