I am just happy we are gonna be competing against teams that r beatable...St. Johns is good but not unbeatable...UK is undisciplined and plays similar personnell to ISU, minus the fact that their recruits are phenomenal, Height weight and play style are similar...no way we get a 12 I doubt unless for some reason the NCAA likes us for once (the past says unlikely) If we would have won one of our two games against top ten teams this season maybe we would have had a better shot...god knows that loss to Wyoming didnt help lol...Hope MSU joins us in the tourney tho I hear it is about a 20 percent chance...

I would be worried about fighting off a 15 seed before I worry about what 3 seed I am going to play. Your numbers aren't that much better than some of these teams projected for 15 seeds. The most important one being Morehead State

ISUb 19-13, 85 RPI, 2-3 v. top50, 3-6 v. top100, 4 bad losses

Vermont 23-8, 96 RPI, 0-2 v. top50, 1-4 v. top100, 2 bad losses
Long Island 26-5 82 RPI, 0-0 v. top50, 1-3 v. top100, 1 bad loss
Morehead St 22-9, 77 RPI, 0-2 v. top50, 3-2 v. top100, 4 bad losses

The one thing going for ISUb is winning the Valley which is looked as a much better conference than some of these. But if Morehead State is a 15 seed, why shouldn't ISUb be one as well?

we have two more RPI top 50 wins than that whole list lol...Not sure if that's an accurate rendering and we do have 20 wins onthe season...even if we r a 15 seed, I expect us to be in the game at the very least...we played two teams of that quality this season and played them both pretty tight before we had our stuff together...

You have 19 wins. D2 wins don't play a part.

So 2 top50 wins overcomes 3 wins, 4 less losses, and a head to head win?

I would still say we had a tougher road than most of those teams...i wiould be supremely disapointed with the NCAAs if we are a 15 seed...I doubt Morehead state is a 15 seed tho. They have a pretty darn good bball team.

I'm gonna say 12-13. Is there any chance that Indiana State would have to play one of the "play in" games or are those strictly designed for at large teams?

Has the Valley ever sending a team this bad to the NCAA tournament? When?

No only the worst 4 at large teams and the worst 4 auto bid teams have to play the play in games. The trees dont fall into either group. Newest bracketology has them playing as a 14 seed against Syracuse. Hopefully they just represent the valley well and dont get blown out. Didnt the orangemen beat down UNI earlier this season?
