Every win is one game closer to Dana's return to Omaha. I'd bet that would be the highest attended game in CBI history.

How would the Jay fans welcome Dana? I think it would be hard to turn down all of that Phil Knight money. Heck, he was already out the door once and came back begging for the job again so CU lucked out previously. Also you ended up with a good replacement even if he is kind of low class sometimes.

Just to put things in perspective, I am pretty sure the JQH crowd would give Steve Alford a standing ovation.

I'm extremely bullish on our young talent. I just wish we had more talent from the upperclassmen. Altman and crew really let recruiting slip the last few years.

McDermott is low class!?? Are you kidding me? Think of the loss to Iowa State and how much he probably wanted to beat his old school. The guy could have lost his mind after the erroneous call that cost the game, but he was cool about it and demonstrated remarkable class.

As for Dana not recruiting, all of the young guys that DJA is so high on other than McD and Gibbd are Dana's recruits.

Typically it is the jilted party that wants to beat their former partner. McDermott probably has no animosity towards the Clones while they do versus him. He's a great coach, but he gets on the officials too much for my liking. He once threatened Wayne Morgan and nearly came to blows with him. Ugly, ugly, ugly. I do think he could take most any Valley coach in a fight though so he has that going for him if things get physical.
