Unless there is a "budding star" coming to Springfield next year Weems is going to be on an island by himself 'cause there was no support coming off of that bench this season.........and he won't find it nearly so easy to score and really does not look like a POY when he is frustrated.
Oh also is Cuonzo still going to be there?

Cuonzo will be there.
There are some budding stars signed and more close to signed.
Scheer will be good and no one counts Pickens.
An island it won't be. Not claiming the Bears will repeat or anything like that but it won't be a one man show.

He'll have to make the 1st team first.

Usually the Player of the Year comes from the Conference champion team so It'll be Colt Ryan !!!

Preseason it will be Weems. Who knows at the end of the season but I'd guess it'll be someone other than Weems.

I'm going to go with Stutz

Lol...Stutz has stepped his game up a bit...Idk if he can win that but if WSU wants to be successful doesn't Toure murry have to be a straight up balla' again?

I'm not sure, but I think SubGod was probably joking, since another WSU fan had picked Stutz as the preseason POY this year.

Yes, I was joking. I feel he could do it if he wants it. I still have faith in the kid, but if I were to pick someone from WSU I may have to go with Ragland.

But I think we'll have a fairly deep team again and don't know if anyone will have the numbers to win the award.

I figured. I think if anyone from WSU is going to weasel their way into it. I would bet it's toure Murray turning into a superstar. :duel:

I'm not sure Murry has it in him. I'd go with Kyles before Murry. Kyles has been inconsistent but has been much better this year than previous years and has the ability and talent level to go off and be a force. He's just got to believe it too.

Did anyone find out what happened to this year's Preaseason Player of the Year?

He couldn't live up to the hype! He felt "hunted".
