Difference is we're not the ones saying "Same Art that last week said there's no way MSU moves this year... Something changed his mind."

Thats not a knock on MSU either. While I defended WSU in the previous post thats not to say I think it would happen. My guess would be CU being in the best position as they have no big brother in their respective state trying to keep them down.

I could be way off but I imagine KU/KSU if wanting a midwest conference for all sports except football would still be very much against WSU. I can't help but believe MU would treat MSU the exact same way.

Just like there was fire behind the C*USA rumor when the "fire" ended up being just a letter stating what all we need to do to get our Athletics department up to par to be considered?

Try being optimistic sometime. I am confident that the state legislature and our governor would help us and intravene if this was to become a possibility. Boone County Community College is consumed with us and would fight tooth and nail against it, but they don't carry much water in this state anymore. I just get the sense that we are on the cusp of something big for select Valley schools like us, WSU, and Creighton. Possibly Illinois State. Exciting times. We should all embrace the mystery.

We don't know that is what it said. The KeyWest Bear fellow seems to know what he is talking about. A lot of our fans who have inside connections were saying the same thing or something close to it. I still think it could happen in the next 3-4 years.

We aren't going anywhere. If we get an invite to CUSA, it will be after they have lost the Texas schools and Memphis and that is not a conference worth moving to...

How can it seem like KeyWest Bear knows what he's talking about when he was the source behind the CUSA hysteria? It would seem more like he's taking a lot of liberties with the information he may have.

No, the basketball player and a random guy on twitter were responsible for the CUSA craziness.

KeyWest called a few things, most significantly being JQH about a month before it was announced and then Zo leaving the day before it was announced. He obviously has some insight. But you're right, sometimes it's best to keep that stuff off the interweb
