The non-noobs don't provide their sources at all. They imagine them.

This statement is rather humorous considering all of the imagining you've been pulling out of your back side. He's right. espn's rpi is pretty noobish. I don't even think they update their "RPI" daily. Probably weekly.

Well, we finally got a couple answers out of you after a day. That pesky NCAA at-large resume question is still being ignored though. But that's what happens when you are defeated. You just ignore it and hope it'll go away. Like a lot of other unresponded posts also. When not a single poster is running at you to defend your point over the last 48 hours, it's probably a good idea to think that you may be out of line on this one.

Didn't Ali say this exact same thing? Great originality!
When's the last time Illinois State even won an NCAA Tournament game?

What does UNI or ISU's performance in St. Louis the past few years have to do with the fact WSU hasn't ever won the championship there or how many bids the MVC will get this year?

I have to give credit to Ali and Redbird23 for ignoring your Red Herrings.

This is why people have legitimate complaints about you on this board.

Thank you!

If you want to bring up RPI at this point in the season, it should only come from RPIForecast.com. Anywhere else is pointless.

Thanks for dictating the only "acceptable" source. Now maybe your shocker friends can go back and use it to update their previous guesses.

There's a logical reason why that's the source.

RPI is a meaningless stat in December, period. The reason RPIforecast is exempt is because it tries to project RPIs going forward using Sagarin, where all the other RPI sites don't project.

Frankly, I still think RPIforecast should be taken with many, many grains of salt, but it's better than the alternative at least.

You're a really weak troll. But I guess you are getting some people to respond to you, so ... congrats?

That's odd. I would think a troll would be someone who was trashing the Valley while pretending to care about the Valley. That wouldn't be me. I'm not the one barking that only one team can possible get an at-large bid. I'm just playing along so shocker fans can continue cupcaking themselves. I'd love to see 4 bids, they will only be happy with one just to show they were right. Big difference.

Saying the Valley is likely to be a one bid league is different from hoping it is.

I hope the Valley gets six teams in. I expect it to have no more than one at-large bid, though.

I also don't expect more than three Valley teams to enter the conference season with an RPI in the top 100. Hopefully I'm wrong there.

The sources are well know - rpiforecast, warren Nolan or real time rpi.

So in this specific instance, how do they differ substantially from the one I used. Do they show that the examples given by shocktheheart of Alabama, Tennessee and Davidson are proof that Wichita State is playing competition in December that is stronger than Drake, Missouri State and Northern Iowa? I know the answer to that but I'd like to see how honest you will be about it. What point is there to criticizing my source when your source of choice doesn't differ? Just like to argue?

Believing that only Wichita State could get an at-large bid based upon wins against teams ranked lower than 3 Valley teams in an RPI source of your choosing is a hard case to make. Have at it.
