If I only rooted for programs that don't have moronic posters on MVCFans, that would pretty well just leave ISUB, Drake and Loyola.

Excellent post! There are plenty of posters I disagree with or even despise. I like to poke those posters with a stick when given a long one, but I don't root against the team or even link such a poster to a specific fan base.

It's on ESPN3 tomorrow at 11am central time, so we'll see.

You sure are a "worry wart" I believe. If didn't know better would believe you are not really an isub fan?

I am an ISU fan, and if you had paid ANY attention to ISU basketball the past 2 seasons you would understand why I made that statement. And actually what I had predicted to happen actually happened, except we won, which I was more than happy about. We built a double digit lead, gave up the lead in the 2nd half, as predicted, but actually came back to win. I've seen too many ISU games lately to know that that is just what happens with ISU basketball. We simply can not get a lead and hold it, the team thinks they can get a lead and simply "coast" to a win. It doesn't work that way and ISU simply has not figured that out.

Watch the Tulsa game Weds. night, it's on at 11:30pm EST, at some point we'll have a double digit lead, but Tulsa will come back, and at some point, regain the lead, now whether we win or lose is yet to be determined, it depends on if the players decide to play 40 minutes, 30 minutes, or 20 minutes.

That is not uncommon in college basketball. What is uncommon is having 20 point+ second half leads at home and ending up with a loss. A double digit lead isn't even safe at the under 4.

Young man I have seen more basketball than even you can imagine and I still say you are a wishy-washy bandwagon fan if I have ever seen one. If all Indiana State fans are like you I could see why they have a psycho problem holding leads?

There is nothing unique about the ebb and flow you have described. Basketball is a game of runs. Players do not decided to play 40 minutes or 30 minutes or 20 minutes. Players play the game and the opposing team has a vote in how well they play.
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.
