That is where he wanted to go but couldn't wait to see who the coach was and if he got offered once Powell offered. I say he has played himself into a bigger offer but maybe he just wants to be close to home?

Yes a year that is an anomaly will surely continue in the future, esp when utep leaves and the bears and Delaware arrive. Sorry that you feel the need to come to this message board and talk nonsense to feel better. Glad my birds gave you the good bye you deserved.

Anyhow, for everyone else, very excited for tomorrow, I'm torn between Bradley winning and taking our chances on the two bid carousel while at the same time I think drake prolly has done enough to deserve to cut down the nets in st louis and leave no doubt. Also I don't hate Bradley like most ISU folks but I don't love em either. Just hoping for a classic, the college basketball world and more specifically the bubble world will be watching tomorrow so hoping we can showcase what everyone here already knows: that this is a really good and fun mid major league.

Did All want Mo State. Yes he did. Mo State didnt offer him. In fact, someone who claims to be close to both Mo State and Link Academy claims that they BEGGED Mo State to take Cooper last year. and Dana didn't think he was tough enough. Same person said that All was given a similar treatment. Why should All have any loyalties to a school that didn't give him a chance.

Sure, metrically for 24-25 CUSA is better, but previous years were sitting around 14-15 range.

Well it’s a different coaching staff, so…

Not saying he’ll end up in Springfield, I would be shocked if that happened. But it’s not ridiculous for a kid to have the desire to come home. The thing that would surprise me more than anything is that he chooses to stay another season in Valparaiso.

A run to lose in the semifinals? A lot has been made of the last 72 hours and Valpo basketball. But let’s also not overdo it. This team finished 11th in a 12 team league. They beat an awful UIC team, had a last second win and then lost in the semis. All in front of 50 Valpo fans. It’s not like they won the thing.

The Bradley fans did not cheer when the Valpo player was down. Come on. Their reaction was to Roger Powell losing his s*** on the refs without any repercussion.

I have video of this sequence from my seat. Bradley fans cheered when Powell got heated with the ref because fan bases always want officials to T up the opposing coach. When the Valpo player got up, Bradley fans were standing and clapping for him.
