Mark Phelps is Drake's head coach. That's not the stuff top-half Valley finishes are made out of.

Look Odum is good, but not good enough to will Indiana State into 1st place. What's this with UNI in 3rd? I would move UNI down to 5th and slide WSU and MSU up to 3rd and 4th.

I've been impressed with Wichita St and Creighton in their tournaments and you can't deny what Indiana St did in St louis. Looks like a three team race to me considering what those teams return and I'm predicting a multi-bid dance party next march.

Idk...tough to tell how good WSU will be without Durley...I think the Trees will be picked second. I would expect a top 3 finish. It will be interesting to see how INSU plays this next year. we are talking about going big moving Carl Richard to the 3 spot and playing Gant and Mahurin at the four...

Do the tournament results change your feelings. Part of me thinks WSU will be better than I imagined, but I also wonder how their personnel will handle the loss of JTD. I like Indiana St and Creighton, but think MSU and UNI take a step or two backward.

I wish I could disagree, but the loss of Luke was huge and left Ahelegbe to do everything. Losing him and not having suitable big men probably means a lower half finish for us next year.

Creighton was never a bubble team. Actually finished 4th in the league this year so dont see how Creighton was a bubble team at any point. Maybe your thinking of Missouri state? I do like Creighton to be a bubble type team next year though if they get some wing players.
