If Long Beach is going to ORU, St Marys has to be going to Creighton. Who would that leave for Murray State? Gotta be WSU...

Nevada - they have a pretty good winning streak going.

According to the Great Andy Katz, Nevada should go to Murray State along with their 70ish RPI, because they're leading the incredibly tough WAC conference.

ESPN can't be that dumb. WSU/Murray blows Nevada/Murray out of the water

Can't believe Matty P. hasn't announced the pairings yet.

Btw, Coach Mac will be on the Bracketbuster show, hopefully a good sign that we will get SMC.

From Lunardi's chat....am I reading that he knows St. Mary's isn't going to play Creighton?

Ashley (Lincoln, NE)

Hypothetical BB match-up, St Mary's at Creighton, who wins?

Joe Lunardi
(4:37 PM)

Creighton doesn't loss at home very often, correct? So the actual match up may not matter much.

I didn't see anything in that that suggested he knew one way or the other...

I feel like in years past I have heard things where Elgin has allowed us to give up the big games to get more MVC teams on TV (a little politicing if you will). Does anyone else remember this?

This really shouldn't be the case this year since there are a lot of valley teams squarely in the mix with RPI, but it wouldn't surprise me to see some deals happening here. For example, in ESPN's back pocket is the lottery week or whatever they call it (2nd to last week where everyones games are TBA) as well as college gameday coming to your school.
