:+1:

I was wondering if he'd admit to being wrong, or if he thinks his team is just that far behind a borderline top 25 team.

WSU showed that they are in a class of their own defensively on the inside. The Sycamores responded by having their worst outside shooting game of the year. That first 8 minutes of the 2nd half was just textbook from the Shockers. It was impressive to watch.

Well done, Shockers. See you in Terre Haute in two and a half weeks. Hopefully you gave our guys the wake up call they needed.

Right on. ISU got a lesson in what it takes to compete at a Final 4-type level. Would've thought they've been battle-tested enough recently that they knew, but it was clear they weren't up to the task. You cannot have slip-ups, cannot be indecisive and slow on the interior. You have to battle like crazy on the boards. It's incredible how WSU has reached such a level of intensity and focus, this is the type of growth every program aims for, but few really can achieve. Enjoy every minute of it Shocker fans, this team is on some kind of ride and is earning everything they get.

Your last statement says it all. Ride the wave while you have it because it won't last forever (meaning season after season). Lots of examples out there in basketball land who have lost the mojo and forgot to really enjoy it when it was there.

I've seen a lot of basketball games over the years, too many to count, but I haven't seen many any better than WSU, the way they played yesterday. I realize that they don't play a Big 10, Big East, ACC type of schedule, but their fundemental play would work in any league. If they CONTINUE this level of play, nobody is going to beat them in the regular season, maybe not in the NCAA's either.

"Big East".... ??? WTH! Please don't confuse the new faux big East with a tough league. There is one ranked team in the big East as of tomorrow. They are still riding the reputation of the old Big East schools.

Shox have great chemistry, play great D, have a winners mentality, are seasoned and are tough.
Would love to see Wiggy and Evan start clicking on offense.

I will be rooting hard for ISUb except for the game in early February the rest of the way. Good luck.

Don't forget about FearDaTrees. He basically said WSU was overrated and basically a fringe Top 25 team.

Thanks to the classy Sycamore fans who have come over and offered congrats. Hopefully, ISU will bulldoze the rest of the way through the Valley (outside of the 5th).

Smack talk? Not exactly sure what I said that could have been misconstrued as smack talk...I was one of the first Sycamore fans to congratulate your fanbase on the win.

That's the difference between a possible championship run and a Sweet 16 run to me. Need those two to provide offense from the bench.

If just Wessel can develop some confidence in his shot, I'm fine with what Wiggins brings. Wessel is all mental right now.

;)

Apologies, I had you and FearDaTrees confused. No surprise that the good ISUb fans like yourself have maintained an even keel before and after Saturday.

FearDaTress, however, has been conspicuously absent with his talk of WSU not being close to a top 10 team and finishing MVC play with at least 4 losses.

Give me a break. Lol. The Shockers def. outplayed the Sycamores Saturday and they ARE the better team, but if you honestly think Wichita St is a top 5 team, you've been taking one too many trips across the state line to get the legal stuff. Match your starting lineup against the rest of the top 5 starting lineups. Exactly. This is the Missouri Valley Conference. The 12th best conference in the country and the Shox OOC wins are not that impressive. The best win they have is St.Louis. A good team, but what other win should I be impressed with? Tennessee? Alabama? This isn't football and outside of Florida, the SEC is very good this year. There is a reason they are undefeated and people still don't have them on the 1 line. I've seen some still as low as a 3 seed. Enjoy the run, as you should, just understand you're still not even the best team in your state.

A perfect example of "misery loves company". You suck so do everything you can to associate yourself to WSU. As if the fact that the Valley sucks has any bearing on how good WSU is.

WSU is just fine on it's own 2 legs, thank you. You should listen to your own coach at some point.

To be honest .......I hope the Shock are undefeated and #1 in the nation when they come to Peoria!

Obviously everyone in the Valley should be jealous of the program!

Its where I want Bradley! I'm Not afraid to admit that.

But, Dont look past the trip to Bloomington.
