Its the usual BS. Think siu against Lu. Odom keeps getting the ball to guys within two feet of the basket and they don't take it strong to the hoop. That's the other problem. They draw fouls they slow down customer bugs.

Complete collapse. The conference's only appearance in the NCAA tournament is one of the worst beatings of the day. 2006 was a loooooooong time ago.

Interesting takes on the game.

I thought Odum did a good job considering...he looked entirely outclassed to me, but played respectable against much better guards. I thought he looked slow and was having to use every skill in his body to keep some control of what was going on. He had a bunch of assists because when he drove in, he could not even think about clearing his own shot on the D. This is really a compliment to the way he played, as he played good but was entirely outclassed.
The reason why ISU was not finishing underneath was because they were against a much more athletic and bigger team....that lead the Big East in blocked shots....ISU knew it and looked very intimidated around the basket.
And c'mon, seriously...are you guys really going to say the refs could have made a difference...I guess it would have if they fouled out every 'Cuse player. Don't go there on this game, ISU was completely outclassed.

My biggest irritation as an MSU fan was Kellogg saying at the beginning of the game that ISU were the MVC champs...that is not true, they were the MVC tourney champs. So Kellogg says that, shows them as a 20 win team and they get thumped by the 'Cuse. Makes the MVC look reeeeeeeal good.

Really didn't want to see it get that lopsided at the end.

It'll certainly be interesting to see how the Sycamores handle next year with actual expectations.

Either way, like it or not, the Sycamores were the MVC Champs. The official champion of the Valley is the tournament winner. It's a skewed fact, but a fact none the less.
